With 30 years of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine, I am dedicated to developing confident, capable Advanced Practice Providers. A 1996 graduate of Emory University, I have built my career in high-acuity emergency settings while consistently teaching and mentoring the next generation of clinicians.

I have lectured at national conferences, taught PA students at Emory University, and precepted learners throughout my career. For the past 15 years, my focus has been onboarding new APPs in Emergency Medicine—helping them successfully transition from training to real-world practice.

My passion is teaching critical thinking under pressure while removing the intimidation often associated with the emergency department. I believe confidence grows through structured support, practical experience, and learning to think clearly when it matters most.
